I just want to make sure if using tan bed is ok while taking Yasmin BCP. I went for tanning today and I read that board that women should avoid tanning if they take BCP. I really wander why and where's the connection? I just want my skin to look good before summer. Any experiences, comments?

I am on Ortho Tri Cyclen BCP and I have gone tanning twice this week..so far i have just tanned for 9 minutes each time and it seems like nothing bad has happened to my skin yet..I am going again in a few days and I'm probably going to do it for longer minutes..If anything bad happens I will let you know.

hey i think they advise u not to because u could get pigmentation on ur face.ya no its like a brown freckle but bigger.my friend got them on her face when she was in turkey she was on dianette at the time

I've been on several bcp's in the past and always gone in the sun ad on sun beds and never had any problems either. i'm no expert but i think it's ok too.
