red marks from accutane

okay...i am on day 47 of accutane, and i am a very bad picker...i just can't seem to help myself. the problem is is that after i pick, it scabs up, and then i end up picking the scabs off because they look so horrible.
does anyone know how i can get rid of, or lighten the red marks from picking the scabs off. they tend to go away after a few weeks, but i guess i am looking for a quicker fix. any help would be appreciated!

I used to pick a lot...But one day I just look in the mirror..and I saw a skin with a lots of red mars uneven skin tone..I thought that..these red marks will take years to disapear. I was so sad.
I know this might sound weird, but..I covered the bathroom lamp with a red towel..So this red light in the bathroom, is so nice..and I can see my pimples. I look in the mirror nad my face looks ok.
I hided all other mirrors..So I wont get to see my face too often.
I dont want to sound stupid, but that helped.

Hope it will help you too.

Sorry for my english http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

that doesn't sound stupic. i did something kin of like that, too. i bought a 25 watt bulb to replace my 100 watt bulb in my bathroom so that i can't see ALL of my imperfections. this may have helped a little bit...i cannot imagine how much worse i would look right now if i hadn't changed it.
