i've tried both and for me B.P was the best,i think you can use both, say Skinoren in the morning and B.P in the evening

The only one that gave me the best overall effects was Skinoren. It doesnt really kill active pimples or zits, but after time it really reduced the amount and severity of my breakouts. It's great under makeup...can make you feel a little oily and greasy and for some people it really itches when you put it on, but it has been a worthy product for me.

I like to use Skinoren all day as a coverup and preventive measure.I like to spot treat with BP but only once every other day so they don't get irritated and also only on certain zits.Skinoren works better than BP at preventing cause it doesn't irritate your skin like BP.

thanks guys!
i just bought some of the azelaic acid stuff. its not skinoren though, its acnederm because its non presciption over here in australia. it is 20% azelaic acid with phenoxyethanol and glycol to prevent dryness.
i know tummy said it makes her feel a little greasy and oily, and i am really really trying to avoid that at all cots because i was like that with differin and retin a micro. do any of the rest of you feel greasy or oily with skinoren>??? thats why i was going to try bp, to prevent the shine.

DO try the Benzoyl Peroxide. I have the same greasy, oily problem with some of these, but not with BP. You might have to alternate nights or skip a few days to get used to it. It leaves a nice matte appearance to your skin after you apply it. There are also versions of Oxy (BP) OTC for sensitive skin. Get used to it gradually. Also EXCELLENT for fading those red spots FAST.
