Hi,
I have read on this board that alot of you use Diane 35 and have had much success. So I did some research about it on line and I came across a site where you can buy it w/o a perscription. Is this safe/legal, does anyone on this board buy it via the internet?

sedulous 06-27-2003, 11:38 AM i think the safest way to take any BCP is under a dr's supervision, just in case. You can't get Diane 35 in the US, however, Yasmin is the same as Diane 35, which you can get a prescription for in the US.

Yhey both contain 30 mg ethyl estradiol (spelling?), but Yasmin has 3 mg drosperinone (which is a type of spiro), while Diane has about the same amount of a different hormone. Yasmin inhibits androgen production, while Diane actually blocks the testosterone receptors. Similar, but some people have different reactions with each pill. The U.S. version of Diane 35 is actually Dianette.

candy20012 06-28-2003, 06:12 PM i,d be careful with dianette i was on it for years i started to get real thin hair on top it was coz of the pill but it did do wonders for my skin not one spot but had to change to marvelon my hairs back to normal now thank god but i,d say if u see any little sign of thinning hair stop at once i never thought it would pass but just got worst
