accutane and fingernails/cuticles

Lately ive been noticing that my fingers peel a lot around the cuticle.. it starts there and gets worse, it looks horrible and actually hurts a lot.. ive heard somewhere that someone else on accutane had this, so if anyone can confirm this or help me find ways to solve or even lessen this problem.. thanks

LOL! I was just about to post this!

Just today(3 weeks into Accutane) I noticed this happening.
I'm using Aquaphor healing ointment(got this from my MD-but you can get it at the store), Antibiotic ointment for cuts, and Blistex-yes the same stuff I'm also putting on my lips. All these I rub right into the cuticles.
I'm also putting lotion all over my hands on a regular basis.

It's not so bad, I hope everything I'm using continues to work.

If anyone else has a suggestion, I'd love to hear it. Thanks in advance.

Me too - same story. I wear acrylic tips, so I'm forced to go to the salon for fills every two weeks. That seems to help a lot, as they use one of those mini drills around the cuticle to get rid of dead skin. Even so, I'm using a lot more lotion on my hands lately than I did before Accutane. I use Eucerin and lotion from Bath & Body works.
